Senior Cybersecurity Trainer & Architect

with real-world project expertise in

WAFs, offensive/defensive security, SIEM, endpoint protection, and cloud security

, capable of delivering high-impact, hands-on training programs globally.

Key Responsibilities:

Advanced Cybersecurity Training & Mentorship

Deliver

expert-level training

on Web & Cloud Security, Ethical Hacking, Threat Hunting, and Application Security. Conduct

customized workshops

, certification bootcamps, and enterprise-level training aligned with current threats and technologies. Mentor cybersecurity professionals and freshers toward becoming job-ready and

certification-cleared (CEH, OSCP, CISSP, etc.)

. Provide

live attack-defense scenarios

, hands-on labs, and real-time infrastructure walkthroughs.

Lab Environment Creation & Simulation

Design and maintain

virtualized cybersecurity lab environments

using platforms like

Kali Linux, AWS, Azure, OWASP Juice Shop, ModSecurity

, etc. Simulate

real-world cyberattacks

(e.g., LFI/RFI, SQLi, DDoS) and guide students on defending against them using WAFs, SIEM, and endpoint tools. Implement

CI/CD pipelines

with security controls using

Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Snyk

, etc.

Curriculum Development & Certification Mapping

Develop end-to-end

training syllabi

aligned with

NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, OWASP Top 10

, and leading certifications. Update content based on

emerging threat trends

,

zero-day vulnerabilities

, and new tools. Build assessments, hands-on challenges, red team/blue team scenarios, and real-case exercises.

Web Application Firewall (WAF) Mastery

Train on

design, deployment, tuning, and optimization

of WAFs (Cloudflare, AWS WAF, Azure WAF, ModSecurity). Demonstrate WAF's role in mitigating

LFI/RFI, DoS/DDoS, XSS, SQL Injection

, and other Layer 7 attacks. Teach

custom rule creation

, log analysis, rate limiting, behavioral profiling, and integration with SIEM.

Learner Engagement & Coaching

Deliver sessions with

high learner interactivity

, labs, quizzes, and recap strategies. Provide tailored coaching for

certification readiness, career planning

, and

resume/interview preparation

. Offer post-training support through Q&A forums, project guidance, and lab access.

Threat Intelligence & Incident Response Education

Demonstrate the use of

Research, Innovation & Community Involvement

Contribute to

as a thought leader. Collaborate with industry partners on pilot training programs and tool evaluations. Stay updated with

emerging technologies

(e.g., Zero Trust, XDR, SOAR, AI in cybersecurity).

Enterprise Integration & Architecture Guidance

Share best practices for integrating WAFs and security controls in

hybrid/multi-cloud environments

. Teach concepts around

DevSecOps

, secure API gateways, and

automated policy enforcement

. Assist enterprise teams in evaluating and deploying security controls as per

compliance standards

(ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI-DSS).

Reporting & Feedback Management

Collect and analyze learner feedback to continuously enhance training delivery. Provide periodic performance reports to training coordinators, L&D teams, or client stakeholders. Ensure training meets

corporate KPIs

, client requirements, and skill uplift goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

15+ years in cybersecurity, including roles in architecture, penetration testing, blue/red teaming, and cloud security. Proven trainer/mentor with exceptional presentation, articulation, and learner engagement abilities. Strong experience with:

WAF platforms

(Cloudflare, AWS WAF, ModSecurity, Azure WAF, Imperva)

Security Testing Tools

(Burp Suite, ZAP, Wireshark, hping3, w3af)

SIEM platforms

(Splunk, Sentinel, ELK Stack)

Vulnerability Analysis

(Snyk, OWASP tools)

DevSecOps tools

(Jenkins, GitHub, CI/CD security automation) Knowledge of compliance, governance, and risk standards.

Preferred Certifications:

CEH, OSCP, CISSP, CISM, GCIH, GPEN

Train-the-Trainer (TTT) certifications or recognized instructional credentials
