Senior Security Engineer - 5+ Years - India (Hybrid/Remote)
Summary:
Are you ready to take charge of advanced security engineering in a global organization? We are looking for an accomplished Senior Security Engineer to strengthen network security, safeguard cloud environments, and drive enterprise-level cyber resilience. This role offers an opportunity to design and implement cutting-edge security standards, work on Zero Trust Architecture, and collaborate with global teams to protect critical systems, data, and applications.
Location: India (Hybrid/Remote flexibility)
Responsibilities * Define and develop information security engineering standards, artifacts, and technical specifications.

• Provide deep expertise in network security, SaaS access, secure internet, and cloud services.
• Create low-level designs, configuration guides, and operational runbooks to standardize processes.
• Troubleshoot security tooling issues and drive implementation support.
• Partner with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with policies and global standards.
• Assess and enhance network security posture by addressing risks, threats, and cost-effective improvements.
• Apply advanced security knowledge to enterprise applications, systems, and data assets.

Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

• Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISA, or GIAC.
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with strong hands-on expertise in firewalls, proxies, and Zscaler (ZIA, ZPA, ZDX).
• Cloud expertise across Azure and AWS, with a deep understanding of Zero Trust Architecture.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting, performance monitoring, and security risk mitigation.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Flexible, resilient, and able to handle multiple projects in a globally distributed environment.
