The counselor will be the primary point of contact for all student queries, from eligibility to post-graduation career pathways.
Key Responsibilities:

Student Counselling
? Assess student academic profiles and conduct detailed counselling sessions with students and parents.
? Provide accurate information on eligibility criteria, including specific requirements for subjects, grades, and age limits for various countries.
? Offer expert advice on the
NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test)
qualifying cut-off and explain how a student's NEET score impacts their university options.
? Guide students through the entire application process, including selecting suitable universities, preparing a checklist of documents, and adhering to strict deadlines.
? Manage and track all application submissions to ensure timely completion.
? Counsel students on financial planning, scholarship opportunities, and the overall affordability of studying abroad.
? Possess a deep understanding of
global medical university recognition and accreditation's
, particularly by regulatory bodies like the National Medical Commission (NMC) in India, the World Health Organization (WHO), and other country-specific councils.
? Inform students about the licensing requirements and registration processes in different countries.
? Detail the steps students must take after graduation to practice medicine overseas or India, including passing the
Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE)
or the upcoming
NEXT (National Exit Test)

? Maintain up-to-date knowledge on international education trends, visa regulations, and other relevant policies.
Qualifications and Skills:

Education:
A bachelor's degree is required; a background in education, counselling, or a medical/science field is preferred.

Experience:
Proven experience in education counselling, with a specific focus on medical (MBBS & MD) programs abroad.

Specialized Knowledge:
A comprehensive and up-to-date understanding of the Indian medical education system, including the NEET exam and its cut-offs, is essential. Knowledge of global medical licensing exams (like USMLE, PLAB) and their significance for practicing in different countries is also required.
