Education: MBA (Finance)/CMA/ICWA, with Graduate in B.E./B.Tech (Chemical, Pharma)/ or BSc/MSc (Chemistry) - more like understand chemistry and perform in F&A.
Experience: 5-10 years in cost control, or cost reduction projects.
Location: Worli, Mumbai, India (Pharma/Healthcare),
Reporting to CFO.
Key Responsibilities:
Cost Optimization & Reduction:
Drive company-wide cost improvement and value engineering initiatives., Identify cost-saving opportunities across materials, conversion, logistics, and overheads. Track and report realized savings through financial analytics and variance analysis.
Identify opportunities for cost optimization
across procurement, operations, and logistics. Strengthen cost governance and site-level cost control practices.
Variance Analysis:
Track deviations between planned vs. actual costs, recommend corrective actions.
Costing:
Prepare, monitor, and control budgets.
Reporting:
Deliver MIS reports, dashboards, and cost-saving initiatives to management.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work with finance, procurement, operation and project teams to ensure cost reduction.
Vendor Benchmarking:
