The Content Writer will be responsible for creating a wide range of content (blog posts, website pages, course descriptions, email newsletters, social media posts) that educate, engage and convert our target audience (aspiring traders, retail investors, continuing learners).
The candidate should have an understanding of finance/stock-markets (or willingness to learn quickly), strong writing ability, and a flair for translating technical concepts into clear, accessible language.
Key Responsibilities
Research, plan and write high-quality content on topics such as stock-market basics, technical analysis, trading strategies, risk management, futures & options, chart patterns, etc.
Create blog posts, website copy, landing pages, case studies, student stories, infographics and social media captions.
Work with SEO best-practices: keyword research, on-page optimisation, meta tags, internal linking, readability.
Collaborate with trainers, analysts and subject matter experts to source accurate information and refresh content periodically (to keep courses and blog updated).
Ensure all content complies with regulatory / compliance guidelines (as this is a financial education context).
Maintain an editorial calendar, meet deadlines and coordinate with marketing & design teams.
Monitor content performance (metrics like page-views, time on page, bounce rate, lead generation) and iterate based on insights.
Assist in repurposing content into different formats (video scripts, newsletters, short-form content for social platforms).
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Finance, Economics or similar.
Proven writing experience (1-4 years preferred) -- ideally in finance, education or digital content.
Excellent command of English (and Hindi if required) -- grammar, spelling, style, tone.
Ability to explain complex financial/market concepts in simple, engaging language.
Basic familiarity with stock-market terminology, trading/investment concepts (if not expert, strong willingness to learn).
Understanding of SEO fundamentals and digital content best practices.
Comfortable working with CMS (WordPress or similar), basic HTML formatting, and content tools.
Strong research skills, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines and adapt to evolving topics.
Preferred / Desirable
Prior experience writing for finance, investment, trading education or a related domain.
Knowledge of the Indian stock market ecosystem (NSE, BSE, derivatives, F&O).
Basic understanding of WordPress, Google Analytics, keyword research tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs)
Ability to create or collaborate on multimedia content (infographics, video scripts).
Good communication skills for interviewing SMEs/trainers and converting insights into content.
