Role Overview

At Demos Project, we are looking for a

Narrative Content Writer - English

who can translate

verified research and data inputs into compelling

English narratives

that shape

public perception and strengthen campaign communication. The role calls for

strong political awareness, crisp writing, and the ability to produce diverse content

formats - from social media posts to speeches and press notes-under tight

deadlines.

You will be a key part of the narrative team that converts insights from

media

tracking and research

into content that informs, persuades, and drives digital

engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Content Development

?

Write clear, precise, and contextually rich English content

based on verified

research briefs and issue analyses.

? Develop posts, captions, press releases, talking points, and narrative notes

that

align with campaign goals.

? Assist in drafting English summaries of Tamil content and

adapt narratives for

bilingual audiences

when required.

? Support daily and weekly content cycles with quick, high-quality writing

output.

Narrative Coordination

?

Collaborate with the Research and Data Analysis teams

to ensure content

accuracy and contextual relevance.

? Use

daily inputs from the Media Monitoring team

to build timely

issue-based responses.

? Align with creative, design, and video units for integrated content production.

Editorial & Quality Oversight

?

Proofread

and

edit

all written English content to ensure

clarity, tone, and

accuracy.

? Maintain consistency across all campaign touchpoints and communication

styles.

? Uphold messaging discipline while ensuring creative flexibility.

Strategic Communication Support

? Assist in preparing notes, speeches, and statements for leadership

communication.

? Contribute to

idea generation and framing for emerging political issues

and

responses.

? Maintain organized archives of English content, issue responses, and narrative

assets.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

Education

? Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Political Science, Communications,

or related fields.

Experience

? Minimum

2 years of professional writing

experience in

media, politics, or

campaign communication.

? Prior exposure to political or public issue-based writing preferred.

Skills

? Excellent written English with ability to simplify complex ideas.

? Awareness of Tamil Nadu's political and social environment.

?

Quick grasp of emerging narratives

and ability to respond contextually.

? Strong collaboration and adaptability in high-paced communication setups.

Bonus

? Basic Tamil understanding for cross-language coordination.

? Experience in digital storytelling, reels, or speech note writing.
