The Global content team is part of the Customer Experience Group’s Strategy function in Freshworks, which is responsible for driving global initiatives across all of Freshworks’ product lines, geographies, and customer bases and ensuring that the customer has the best experience with our brand.


We’re hiring a content specialist for Freshworks’ Customer Experience Strategy function. You will be part of a global content team whose primary goal is to create creative and educational content to educate our customers about the Freshworks suite of products. You will work with our product, support, and video designers to produce and adapt short-form and long-form content for videos and other instructional content. Responsibilities:

• Write and edit high-quality customer-facing content in video scripts, articles, newsletters, and other creative assets for global audiences.
• Take ownership and pride and display craftsmanship in delivering high-quality content to our customers.
• Develop product and skill-based courses and certifications based on customer needs and feedback.
• Convert complex concepts into simple language.
• Work with cross-functional teams like the product, marketing, and support to ensure all content is up-to-date.
• Develop and contribute to content development plans

Qualifications

• 
  5-8 years of experience in content development in a support, education or
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing, or a communications-related field
• Proven experience in writing/editing long and short-form content, preferably for videos
• Excellent written and oral communication skills for global audiences
• Experience working with SaaS products and content development teams
• Strong analytical skills to determine content styles based on various data sources
• Be flexible and agile in creating content in a variety of formats
• Knowledge and experience in a technology-related field
