Key Responsibilities

Editorial Excellence:

Review, edit, and approve high-impact content (articles, white papers, scripts) for clarity, tone, and grammatical precision.

Strategy & Planning:

Develop and manage the editorial calendar; collaborate with marketing to align content with product launches and campaigns.

Team Leadership:

Mentor junior writers and freelance contributors, providing constructive feedback to improve their craft.

SEO & Optimization:

Implement SEO best practices and use tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs) to ensure content ranks and drives organic traffic.

Performance Tracking:

Analyze content metrics (CTR, engagement, conversion) to refine strategy and identify content gaps.

AI Governance:

Oversee AI-assisted content production to ensure accuracy, human touch, and brand consistency.

Core Competencies

Technical Skills:

Mastery of CMS platforms (WordPress, Contentful), SEO tools, and project management software (Asana, Trello).

Strategic Thinking:

Ability to connect content outputs to high-level business KPIs.

Adaptability:

Proficiency in integrating AI tools into the editorial process without sacrificing quality.

Communication:

Exceptional stakeholder management skills to bridge the gap between creative and executive teams.

Required Qualifications

Experience:

5+ years in professional editing or content strategy, with at least 2 years in a leadership/senior role.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or a related field.

Portfolio:

Proven track record of producing or managing high-performing digital content.
