Your key responsibilities
Technical Excellence

• Developing solutions and processes for delivering features based on their knowledge of design/architectural patterns and Agile/DevOps practices.
• Must be fluent with financial data, navigating databases, understanding data flows across systems, data lineage, aggregations, and reporting.
• The candidate must have financial reporting or regulatory reporting experience (or) be able to learn the business domain and data aspects very quickly.
• Should be able to holds meetings with the business and BA s to understand and implement business requirements.
• Should have skills to work on Oracle DB (PL/SQL) like writing procedures, functions, packages, complex queries, dynamic queries, collection method.
• Should have good understanding on Indexes, performance tuning i.e., explain plan, execution plan.
• Should be able to work on Reporting technologies like Oracle BIP (Power BI is an add-on).
• Should have an idea of working on version control related tools (SVN/Git Hub).
• Should have experience of understanding and parsing XML and JSON structures in the DB.
• Having experience of working with tools like Postman or Soap UI is an add-on.
• Having experience of working on Front End related technologic (Oracle ADF or Java script (Angular is an add-on)).
• Having experience in server technologies like WebLogic or Tomcat is an add-on.
• Actively utilize and seek assistance from Data Architects to maintain project progress.
• Develop Informatica mappings, perform full unit testing and then deploy them to production.
• Collaborate proactively with functional users, analysts, and other team members to verify business requirements.
• Understand business requirements and data models, determine implementation strategy, and translate into code that conforms to best practices and standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Debug, tune and optimize code for optimal performance.
• Provide technical assistance to junior developers.
• Participate in design and code reviews, perform code reviews when selected, and support reviewers as requested.
• Develop Unix shell scripts to call ETL workflows and sql scripts.
• Understand Security requirements for data access.

Qualification

• Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science
• Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering
• Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical
• Master of Computer Applications
• Master of Business Administration

Experience

• Database Administration (4+ years)
