Roles and Responsibilities About NHA: National Health Authority (NHA)is the apex body responsible for implementing India\xe2\x80\x99s flagship public health insurance/assurance scheme called \xe2\x80\x9cAyushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana\xe2\x80\x9d & has been entrusted with the role of designing strategy, building technological infrastructure and implementation of \xe2\x80\x9cNational Digital Health Mission\xe2\x80\x9d to create a National Digital Health Eco-system. AboutAyushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri-Jan Arogya Yojana(AB PM-JAY): The Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri-Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY) aims to to achieve the vision of Universal Health Coverage (UHC). This initiative has been designed to meet Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and its underlining commitment, which is to "leave no one behind." PM-JAY was announced by the Hon\xe2\x80\x99ble Prime Minister on 23rd September, 2018. It is currently being implemented in 36 States/UT\xe2\x80\x99s. JOB Description : Expected Education Qualifications and Experience (1) Bachelors\xe2\x80\x99 Degree from a recognized University/ Institute (2) MBA/PG Diploma- Hospital Administration/Health Management/Health Administration \'OR\' Master in hospital administration/health system management/health adminstration \'OR\' Master in Public health from a recognized university or institution Minimum 05 years post qualification experince in health system management/ public health/hospital administration Experince in public health prefrence will be given
Key Responsibilities:- 1) Management of key tasks of NHA\xe2\x80\x99s Service Provider Engagement Division, with responsibility for expanding the PM-JAY Hospital Network ; (2) Development of policy documents for: (a) Hospital Empanelment; (b) De-empanelment; (c) Guidance to states for all procedures relating to the creation of a network of Hospitals; (3) Provision of and/or facilitating the provision of domain specific technical support to SHAs on matters relating to Hospital Empanelment , TORs, inviting proposal applications, etc.; (4) Management of Advisors and Consultants working on Hospital Empanelment as well as continuous coordination with other NHA Divisions; (5) Involvement and engagement with various Committees, Sub-committees and InternationalDevelopment Agencies supporting NHA; (6) Tracking of significant developments and trends in the field of Health/ Health Insurance/ Quality of Care; (7) Conduct of training workshops on Empanelment of Hospitals (8) Undertaking of monitoring visits to states, as well as provision of support to State Governments on issues relating to Hospital Empanelment ; (9) Preparation/ updation of empanelment criteria, under the scheme; (10) Generation of evidence through various analysis,to support policymaking on various aspects of the scheme; (13) Review of Empanelled Hospitals in terms of performance, quality of care and other aspects; (14) Conduct of training workshops on empanelment of Hospitals; (15) Drafting of advisories on state-specific Hospital empanelment criteria, as per local needs; (16) Drafting of advisories on Specialty Hospital empanelment criteria for SHAs; (17) Any other responsibility assigned by NHA
