We are looking for a mid-level Configuration Specialist with a strong QA foundation to support our healthcare solutions OHI team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring healthcare applications, ensuring data integrity, and supporting quality assurance processes to deliver high-performing, compliant systems. The person will be responsible for the detailed configuration of the Oracle Health Insurance (OHI) platform, ensuring that the solution meets business and architectural requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Configure and maintain healthcare application rules, workflows, and benefit plans.
Collaborate with business analysts and QA teams to understand requirements and translate them into system configurations.
Perform impact analysis and validation of configuration changes.
Support QA efforts by creating test data, validating configurations, and participating in defect triage.
Document configuration processes and maintain version control.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and internal quality standards.
Required Skills and Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
4-7 years of experience in configuration or QA roles within the healthcare domain.
Hands-on experience with healthcare platforms (e.g., claims processing, EHR/EMR systems).
Strong understanding of healthcare benefit structures and data models.
Proficiency in SQL and configuration tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with tools like Facets, QNXT, or similar healthcare systems.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
Certification in healthcare IT or QA (e.g., ISTQB, HL7, HIPAA).
