We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consutant Specialist.
In this role, you will:

  • Enforcing Agile / Scrum processes and methodology and leveraging Agile techniques as a Scrum Master for the programme
  • Guiding the Global Mortgages team on how to use Agile / Scrum practices and ensuring members of the development team work according to Scrum rules
  • Planning the work of the Scrum Teams following Sprint Planning events and user story sizing
  • Facilitating Scrum events across geographically distributed teams, (UK, India, China)
  • Advising and mentoring team members in the Agile approach and how to apply it and ensuring that the self organising and cross-functional structure of the team works efficiently
  • Facilitating discussions, decision making and conflict resolution
  • Applying backlog tracking, burn-down & other reporting metrics, velocity and task management
  • Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency and dissipating information
  • Regularly assessing the Agile and Scrum Maturity of the teams and programme and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and programme
  • Clearly communicating project vision, goals, and Product Backlog items to the Scrum Team
  • Understanding long-term product planning in an empirical environment

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
  • Experience performing the Agile Delivery Lead role, applying Agile/Scrum principles, practices and theory and good use of RTC
  • Experience of being scrum master in a sizeable Java based web project. Extensive reporting experience.
  • Good skills and knowledge of leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
  • Knowledge and experience with successful Agile techniques: User Stories, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Automated Testing
  • Excellent organiser, must be able to be a voice of reason and authority
  • Communication skills need to be advanced and evident in recent assignments
  • Ability to facilitate discussion and facilitate alternatives or different approaches
  • Experience working within Agile Software Delivery environments and familiarity with tools that enable the rapid definition, design, build, integration and test of fully working code
  • An active interest in developing the skills of others
  • Professional Scrum Master (PSMI) certification is desirable
  • SAFe certification would also be added advantage.
  • Good understanding of leading development heavy projects.
