We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist Job Profile: Provide solution architecture support to projects where required ensuring that solution defined meets business needs, is aligned to functional and target architecture with any deviations approved. Analyze and propose plan to demise legacy systems. Ensure that any new technology products are taken through the technology design governance process. Mentor and coach less experienced members of staff and promotes an understanding of the value of architecture and of use of technologies and standards in their domain across IT. Informing and influencing technical decisions made at design authorities. Perform architecture impact assessments for the application to help and shape ideas and initiatives. Define standards and patterns applicable to the domain. Understanding the business, operational and technical context of the specific platform ecosystem Be part of the vendor relationship, vendor selection. Demonstrate thought leadership on specific topics and promote knowledge sharing across the architecture community. Collaborate with other architects to ensure overall integrity of roadmaps. Understand industry best practice and engage with strategic partners to align capabilities and influence product roadmap. Ensure compliance with all relevant internal instructions Functional Instruction Manual (FIMs), Group Standard Manual (GSMs), circulars) and external regulatory requirements, including the management of operational risk and adherence to the group\'s standards of ethical behaviour. Requirements A minimum of 8 -12 years of experience in Architect role. Extensive knowledge on building and designing Rest API, API Gateway, API Standards. Extensive knowledge on Micro-services, Web services and Integration styles. Experience on building end to end Cloud Architecture on GCP, AWS or Azure with preference to GCP. Hands-on experience on Spring, Spring Boot and Spring Batch. Experience on various kinds of Databases SQL/NoSQL/Graph. Good Understanding of messaging platform like Kafka, MQ, Solace. Past working experience in a relevant role, i.e. Architecture, Design Good understanding of Solution architecture patterns. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills with good command of written and spoken English Knowledge of an Enterprise Architecture framework, e.g. TOGAF, Zachman Ability to work with senior stakeholders and various business parties and drive all the business discussions. A track record of making complex business decisions with authority, even in times of ambiguity, considering the potential long term risks and implications. Built effective networks both internally and externally and created opportunities for others to workcollaboratively. Very good analysis and trouble shooting skills.
