We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist In this role, you will: You will be joining the Windows Product Cluster as a Windows SME, part of an experienced Agile development team working directly with the Windows Product Owner. You will be involved in building images, developing code and driving improvements across the product. You will also be responsible for increasing automation, availability and performance of the global Windows server estate working with our Architects, and Customer Success team, to identify and implement the most optimal solution for the platform and our customers.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Ansible Expert with 3 + years’ experience in writing playbook for building and managing the Windows Build

• Advance Ansible design skill and managing the plays and playbook effectively

• Hashicorp vault management with splunk

• Creating operating model around Windows OS with Ansible

• Strong experience with Ansible Tower

• Advanced PowerShell / Python knowledge with experience in complex enterprise scale scripts

• Hands-on experience in using Puppet to both build Windows servers and manage a Windows Server estate

• Proficient in computer networking, active directory, computer security, system administration, continuous integration, and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and code management in a large organization

• Have experience of devops tools, orchestration, and automation

• Experience of server configuration, security standards and the continuous management of them including an understanding of desired State Configuration (DSC), Puppet and Ansible

• Experience in using Puppet to both build Windows servers and manage a Windows Server estate

• A proven track record in applying these skills across Enterprise scale estates

• Innovative approach to deployment methodologies

• Experience of working with agile practices and toolsets including JIRA and Confluence

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels

• Ability to work with globally distributed teams including 3rd party vendors

• Infrastructure as Code (IAC)

• A good understanding of Packaging / MDT / Task sequences

• A good understanding of virtualisation technologies

• An understanding of external cloud technologies

• REST API knowledge

• Splunk dashboards and integration
