We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist

In this role, you will:

• Designing, building, installing, configuring and supporting Hadoop
• Responsible for implementation and ongoing administration of Hadoop infrastructure
• Proven understanding with Hadoop, HBase, Hive and HBase
• Performance tuning of Hadoop clusters and Hadoop MapReduce routines.
• Screen Hadoop cluster job performances and capacity planning
• Monitor Hadoop cluster connectivity and security
• Manage and review Hadoop log files. File system management and monitoring.
• HDFS support and maintenance
• Building, maintaining and optimizing ETL / ELT data pipelines

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Experience on RDBMS databases and NoSQL technologies HBase, Cassandra & MongoDB
• Knowledge of scripting languages including Java, Scala, Linux, Python, and R.
• Hands on experience with Hadoop and Spark Frameworks, Kafka, Hive, Splunk, Juniper Qlik
• Working with raw data, structured, semi-structured and unstructured data
• Experience of source control, Continuous Integration, Delivery and Deployment through CI Pipelines
• Supporting and working with BI and Analytics teams in a dynamic environment
• Able to collaborate and effectively pair program with other engineers
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of Scrum, Kanban or other agile frameworks is beneficial
• Work with Agile methodology, representing the Pod and Area lead in standups and problem solving meetings
