ABOUT THE ROLE

The goal of Commercial Application Service Excellence (ASE) team is to deliver to deliver groundbreaking IT services to enable sales & marketing organization across the globe to actively engage physicians via different sales channels, enhance interactions & increase sales revenues. Delivering the portfolio of projects and services needs people with hybrid skills of technical ability and knowledge of the Commercial processes. Service Lead \xe2\x80\x93 HCM/MDM would act as a single point of ownership of service delivery for commercial MDM/HCM Applications in the US and Global business regions. The candidate should possess broad functional knowledge in Life Science/Pharma domain and in-depth technical knowledge in the MDM technologies/platforms. The candidate should be experienced in Service Management methodologies. Role and Responsibilities
  • Single point of contact responsible for service delivery of MDM/HCM Applications in US and Global regions
  • Manage Incident, Service Request from regions and related communication
  • Support Application Manager (AM) on RCA and Problem management
  • Liaison with Application Manager (AM) to plan and implement Continuous Service Improvements
  • Assist in requirement analysis, effort estimation and solution/technical design for enhancements
  • Advanced trouble shooting, break fix for issues spanning Reltio and related integrations
  • Work with regional application managers (RAM) and commercial service managers (OSM/SDM) to understand market perceptions and deliver service
  • Maintain Service levels - deliver service as per important metric to different markets
  • People management, work with and manage a team of specialists in service team , align the goals and evaluate against achievement. Groom the junior technical members
  • Support OSM/SDM on resource Due Diligence and estimations for new scope of support
  • Support OSM/SDM on Service Capacity planning
  • Work with Application Manager (AM), Project Managers and Centre of Excellence(COE) service assurance to take on new or additional services to production environment (service introduction)
  • Manage service Change requests (CR) and Post deployment Activities(PDA)
  • Develop and practice Service/Change Catalogue between COE and Service team
  • Manage changes to production environment as appropriate e.g. Patch management
  • Service KPI Performance reporting
  • Monitoring applications, systems & interfaces and ensure data quality across systems supported
  • Work with internal IT and Shared support to ensure adequate infrastructure is available for service support
  • Proactive analysis, validation & working on product issues with SaaS providers such as Reltio
Required Skills and experience
  • Experience of working in Sales & Marketing Portfolio preferably in Life Sciences Industry.
  • Good functional understanding and hands on experience on MDM/HCM/Reltio
  • Techno-functional working experience in Astra Zeneca Commercial IT systems/platforms like RELTIO
  • In depth knowledge of Astra Zeneca and Commercial IT ITSM and AD processes
  • Ability to understand business requirements from business users and prepare and review functional specifications.
  • Exposure is essential to highly customized RELTIO environments and working on collaborate with other systems.
  • Understanding of ITIL processes and Application life cycle management.
  • Ability to work in large, diverse, and globally distributed teams and leading them
  • Understanding of GXP and SOX requirements. Should have working experience in a validated environment.
  • Should be aware of release governance processes and have experience in working on any incident management tool.
  • Superb communication and interpersonal skills, Well versed in English
  • Proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Technical hands on experience in MDM, ETL, Java, Python, Oracle
Education background
  • B.E. / B. tech degree in CS/IT/Chemical / Mechanical/ Production / Industrial or allied branches
GOOD to have
  • Knowledge/Certification on Reltio/MDM
  • Certifications in ETL technologies like Informatica, SNAP Logic, Mule Soft
  • ITIL certification, Lean / Six Sigma certification
