About the role

SAP Functional Consultant for a world leading pharmaceutical company which operates in over 100 countries and is head quartered in the United Kingdom. He/ she must work part of the Operations IT team which works on supply chain.

Candidate should have worked on at least one implementation / roll out / support of Global Trade Services module of SAP. Experience on SAP GTS E4H or SAP GTS 11.0 preferred. Expected to work on greenfield development of SAP GTS and support it post phased go-lives. Will be working closely with the architects, business Stakeholders and contractors. Must work along with a team on medium or complex projects having a good understanding of business processes in the life sciences / pharmaceutical domain.

Must be able to understand business requirements from business users, prepare functional specifications, perform configuration changes, assist technical teams (e.g. ABAP) in their work, perform system and integration testing. They must be hands- on configuring the system. They must also be able to lead a team and maneuver the team through different rollouts, train them and manage the maintenance phase.

Willing to work in shifts mandatory.

Skillset:

Collaborating with SAP PI or any other middleware and a feeder system like SAP ECC. Must have worked actively on interfacing with at least one customs broker and content provider software like Descartes.

Experience in handling trade regulations of at least one of the countries: Europe (Sweden, UK, France preferred), US, Netherlands, and China. Be quick learner of Country wise legislation of the other regions listed.

Must be able to suggest and evaluate Fiori apps.

Knowledge of tariff commodity codes, customs duty rates, reclassification files and free trade agreement rules; Import and export-based customs processing, vendor-based vendor and customer declarations and special customs procedures.

Billing of lading, certificate of origin and trade agreements customization

Automated shipping and customs declaration

Free Trade agreements

Engagement with brokers and forwarders

Compliance visibility

Product qualification & classification management

Value adds:

Experience working on agile fashioned sprints.

ServiceNow knowledge

Educational background:

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Engineering or equivalent

Overall years of experience:

Between 6 to 8 years of experience in SAP GTS.
