Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA CO Senior Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in Controlling processes, configuration, and support. The consultant will be responsible for implementing, enhancing, and supporting CO sub-modules, cost planning, product costing, COPA, Material Ledger, and manufacturing scenarios such as MTO and MTS.
The role requires deep functional knowledge, the ability to work closely with business stakeholders, and hands-on involvement in configuration, testing, data migration, and cutover activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Mandatory Skills

• 6-10 years of SAP CO hands-on experience
• Strong S/4HANA CO knowledge
• Experience in:

o Cost Center Accounting
o Product Costing
? Sales order Costing and Product Costing
o Material Ledger & Actual Costing and Closing cockpits
o Internal Orders Accounting, Budgeting, Settlements etc.
o COPA (Account-based)
o Cost Allocations
o Parallel valuations
o MTO / MTS manufacturing scenarios
o Material valuations - LIFO or FIFO

• Strong understanding of allocations, settlements, and variances
• Good knowledge of FI-CO integration
• Experience in integration with MM, SD, and PP modules.
• Handle month-end and year-end closing activities, reconciliations, and reporting.

• Technical Tools & Activities

o Coordinate with technical teams (ABAP, PI/PO, CPI) for interface issues and enhancements.
o Hands-on experience with LSMW for data migration.
o Experience in cutover planning and execution.
o Knowledge of interfaces (IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs) between SAP and external systems (banking, third-party applications, etc.)
o Schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot background jobs related to financial postings, reconciliations, and reporting.
o Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros preferred).
Project Experience

• Minimum of 2 end-to-end SAP implementation or rollout projects.
• Experience in support and enhancement projects.
• Exposure to migration projects and reconciliation activities.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Experience in at least one S/4HANA implementation or conversion
• Exposure to Fiori apps for CO
• Experience with Migration Cockpit
• Knowledge of SAP PS integration
• SAP S/4HANA Controlling certification

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and stakeholder interaction
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Willingness to support critical business timelines

Education

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or IT (MBA/CA/ICWA preferred).
