OFS Consulting is a team that implements Oracle Financial Services Analytical Application (OFSAA) products in various Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 banks and financial institutions. Our team has experience in deploying OFSAA product solutions for our clients on a global basis, with implementations across Asia Pacific, Africa, Americas, Middle East, and Europe.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled ERM/EPM/IFRS17 Technical Consultant to join our team, with expertise in implementing OFSAA products, particularly in the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), and IFRS17 domains. The successful candidate will have experience in installing, configuring, and deploying ERM/EPM/IFRS17 solutions, including EPM applications like Profitability (PFT), Fund Transfer Pricing (FTP), Balance Sheet Planning (BSP), and GL-Recon, as well as ERM applications like Basel Regulatory Capital, CR, MR, ALM, Liquidity Risk, Economic Capital, and Operational Risk.

Key Responsibilities

Understand client functional and business team requirements and qualify the requirements as per the product functionality Conduct workshops and trainings on the product functional scope Take care of the technical delivery responsibility by delivering the mapping support, BRD preparation, support for configuration, testing, and rollout Work on Agile/Water-Scrum-Fall based development methodology Support the testing phase (System Testing, SIT, UAT, Production) and ensure quick turnaround of defect fixes

Qualifications & Skills

Mandatory:

+ Graduate-level degree focused on Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Systems Engineering
+ Hands-on experience in installing and configuring OFSAA ERM/EPM/IFRS17 and has worked with large implementation involving multi-country rollout
+ Expert in PLSQL, Oracle DB concepts, various Webserver configurations (WebLogic, WebSphere, Tomcat, etc.), configuring LDAP, Schedulers like ControlM, etc.
+ 2+ years of experience in OFSAA ERM/EPM/IFRS17 product implementation in a technical capacity or in similar products

Desired:

+ Preferably an OFSAA ERM/EPM/IFRS17 Technical expert who has worked with large transformation projects
+ Expert in Agile methodologies and has expertise in Oracle DB/PLSQL querying skills
+ Strong knowledge in OFSAA ERM/EPM/IFRS17 application installation, migration, configuration independently
+ Desire to get upskilled to the latest in functional areas like Machine Learning, Block Chain, etc. and implement them in the project
+ Exposure to any of the following tools: Informatica, Datastage, Abinitio, Oracle BI Tools, SQL Server BI tool set, Business Objects, Cognos, ERWIN
+ Good understanding of Databases (Oracle, DB2, Exadata)
+ Working knowledge of job scheduling products such as AutoSys and ControlM
+ Java, JSP, J2EE standards (studs) with Oracle database
+ Knowledge of any of the Web Servers like WebSphere, WebLogic, etc


Responsibilities:


Install and deploy the OFSAA solutions in a customer environment. This includes coordinating with customer technical resources.


o Support all phases of deploying the OFSAA solutions at customer sites including initial installation, patches and upgrades, application configuration, user acceptance testing and go-live.


o Interact with Functional and Technical Consultants to ensure the successful deployment of the OFSAA solutions.


o Discuss and document configuration of client environment.


o Adopt and contribute to Organizational best practice methodologies for knowledge dissemination throughout the OFSAA Delivery organization.


o Travel on some projects will be 100%


o Implementation experience with OFSAA solutions.


o Familiarity with OBI for reporting and ERWIN (for data model changes).


o Good understanding of LDAP and SSO


o Exposure to any of the following tools Informatica, Datastage, Abinitio, Oracle BI Tools, SQL Server BI tool set, Business Objects, Cognos


o Good understanding of Databases (Oracle, DB2, Exa Data)


o Working knowledge of job scheduling products such as AutoSys and ControlM


o Java, JSP, J2EE standards (studs) with Oracle database


o Knowledge of any of the Web Servers like Websphere, Weblogic etc


o Exposure in BFSI Domain


o Excellent English written and oral communication skills. Technical Consultant must be able to clearly articulate EPM functionality and requirements to both clients and colleagues at all levels, from engineering staff to senior executive management
