About the role

Accountabilities

Maintain the health of the owning system and steer application performance, guide rapid incident resolution, champion customer-centric protocols, and drive continuous improvement to elevate user experience.

Monitor production support processes and report metrics related to scheduled jobs, data reconciliations, and production data flows.

Triage and resolve issues raised by end users independently and collaboratively with data engineering support team and data management team.

Perform adhoc data analyses and provide technical support as necessary.

Proactively identify trends, determine incident root causes, and manage adverse events from identification to resolution and ensure alignment to appropriate ServiceNow SLAs and KPI metrics.

Gather Requirements \xe2\x80\x93 Able to interact with business users, understand the requirement and convert them into technical design.

Be part of a truly Agile and DevOps team which provides web app development & support across the EU IT portfolio.

Design and implement technology standard methodologies, guidelines and reusable processes.

Test and quality assess new D&A solutions, to ensure they are fit for release: code assurance, Unit and System Integration Testing, Data testing, release management control and support of UAT processes.

Ensure that business data and information assets are made available as data services and artefacts for consumption by the wider AZ enterprise.

Essential skills for the role

Proficiency and strong expertise is required in ASP.Net,C#.Net and MS SQL with excellent test driven coding skills .

Experience of working in Pharmaceutical / Biotech / Healthcare analytics or secondary data analysis Portfolio preferably in Life Sciences Industry.

Technical hands on experience in React/NodeJS, Web APIs, MVC, Javascript, JQuery,Amazon RedShift, S3, PL/SQL Oracle and SQL Server.

Capable of implementing Web APIs or RESTful APIs

Working experience in server side CSS, HTML frameworks and familiar with SOAP/REST concepts.

Excellent SQL coding skills & Data Modelling skills (RDBMS concepts, Normalization, dimensional modelling etc.)

Strong understanding of OOPS concepts, familiarity with ASP.NET framework and 3 tier/N tier architecture with experience of using this framework for designing applications, functional coding, maintaining performance, and analyzing requirements and functionality.

Capable of working with design teams to ensure that user interactions on web pages are intuitive , engaging and supports cross browser compatibility.

Also proficient in implementing back-end functionality that can run smoothly from any device or browser type commonly used today.

Expertise in MS Office products - Excel and PowerPoint skills required. Knowing VB.net is a must.

Experience working in a Big Data environment and knowledge of cloud ecosystems like Hadoop, AWS

Experience working in a fully CI/CD managed DevOps environment. Tools such as git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Code Commit, Bamboo or similar

Familiarity of working with a range of BI & analytics architectures. These may include traditional data warehousing, visualization, analytics

Complex problem-solving capability and ever improvement approach.

Must be analytic, creative and self-motivated.

Willing to work in a cross-cultural environment.

Ability to work effectively independently or as part of a team to achieve objectives.

Excellent communication & documentation skills

Eager to learn and develop new tech skills as required.

It is desirable and good to have below listed skills & experience in relevant areas

Domain knowledge (processes & data): Pharma Compliance, Regulatory Reporting etc.

Hands on and work experience in React JS/Angular JS.

MuleSoft for developers and AnyPoint Platform experience.

Knowing Python ,Power Apps, Power Automate is a plus.

Knowledge and/or experience of RAML, MUnit, Ping SSo/Azure, NoSQL databases

Understanding of microservice architecture, design patterns is an added advantage.

Knowledge of Lean & Agile Ways of Working

Any Microsoft/AWS/Agile Certifications.

Good Story telling capability

People/Process Management skills

Proficient in communicating with the business stakeholders

ITSM knowledge preferred
