RINA is currently recruiting for a Senior Consultant - Civil & Structure to join its office in Mumbai/Delhi within the Green Energy Solutions Division.

Mission

This role focuses on providing support to engineers in designing solutions, products, machines, systems or structures, respecting time, budget, and quality requirements.

Key Accountabilities

• Worked closely with the business team, systems engineering team of all relevant discipline.
• Responsible for operational level understanding of the requirement of the client/customer, Site Visits, Site feasibility & Solar Systems Design
• Grading and Earthwork calculations, Storm Water Management Design and Permitting,Erosion and Sedimentation Control Design and Permitting
• Thorough knowledge on latest IS Codes 456, 800, 875, 801 (Cold-formed light gauge steel structural members) and 2911 (Pile Foundation).
• Good working knowledge of international codes (US / Euro) shall be preferred.
• Good working experience with Civil Engineering Software like STAAD.pro or equivalent as well as foundation design / pile design software.
• Experience of working with Civil 3D terrain modelling software for grading / drainage / road design will be an added advantage.

Education

Bachelor\'s Degree in Civil Engineering

Qualifications

• BTECH(Civil), MTECH in structural Engg (preferred)
• Minimum of 5-8 years\' experience solar and wind projects
• Strong understanding of the renewable energy sector, solar and wind
• Possess excellent English oral and written communication skills (report writing).
• Experience for Technical Assistance services for IFI projects (ADB, WB) (preferred)
• Positive attitude, team player.
• Flexible to work away from your home office and travel within and outside India
