Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Lead Java Developer with AWS expertise to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide technical leadership, architectural guidance, and hands-on development support for complex, cloud-native applications using Java and Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate has strong backend development experience, deep cloud architecture knowledge, and proven leadership skills in guiding cross-functional teams.




Key Responsibilities


Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable and secure backend services using Java and AWS.


Collaborate with architects, product managers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.


Own the end-to-end technical delivery, including planning, estimation, architecture, development, and deployment.


Implement best practices in code quality, testing, and DevOps automation.


Guide and mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews and architecture reviews.


Champion Agile practices and participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.


Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of application components in a cloud environment.


Stay current with new technologies and advocate for continuous improvement in engineering practices..




Required Skills & Qualifications


8+ years of experience in backend development with Java (Java 8/11/17).


Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, DynamoDB, CloudFormation, etc.).


Experience in building microservices and RESTful APIs.


Solid understanding of Spring Framework, especially Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security.


Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes or Amazon ECS/EKS.


Proficiency with build tools and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, etc.).


Experience with monitoring, logging, and performance tuning using tools like CloudWatch, ELK stack, Prometheus/Grafana.


Strong knowledge of design patterns, software architecture, and best coding practices.
