Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled

Senior Consultant - Accounting (CA)

to lead and oversee accounting, compliance, and financial management functions for

both Domestic and International clients

. This role demands deep technical expertise in accounting standards, statutory compliance, financial analysis, and review of complex deliverables.

As a senior professional, you will ensure accuracy, governance, and timely delivery across all client engagements while driving strategic insights through MIS, financial reviews, and analytical reporting. You will also act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them on financial processes, controls, budgeting, and business decisions.

In addition to technical responsibilities, the role requires strong leadership in managing teams, ensuring quality and efficiency, and contributing to organizational growth through business development, client expansion, and process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Management & Strategic Engagement



Act as the primary relationship owner for key clients -- ensure satisfaction, delivery excellence, and value creation.

Lead client onboarding, due diligence, and process setup for new engagements.

Conduct and present client review meetings, MIS reports, financial analysis, and insights.

Drive client retention and expansion initiatives, including cross-selling and identifying new service opportunities.

Manage and resolve escalations promptly; ensure smooth client communication and expectation alignment.

Review weekly reports to ensure employee efforts align with client scope, billing, and ROI.


(Example: Evaluate utilization ratios -- employee cost vs. billed revenue -- to identify inefficiencies and recommend optimization.)

2. Compliance, Accounting & Analytical Oversight



Oversee review of compliance, accounting, and reporting deliverables prepared by the Consultant and Senior Associate teams.

Conduct high-level reviews of financial statements, analytics, and compliance summaries to identify risks or improvements.

Ensure accuracy levels above 98% across all client deliverables under responsibility.

Provide data-backed insights for budgeting, forecasting, and variance reporting.

3. Team Management & Development



Supervise and guide Consultants, Senior Associates, and Associates to achieve quality and efficiency.

Conduct task performance reviews, workload planning, and ensure alignment with ROI targets.

Facilitate ongoing mentorship, internal trainings, and cross-functional knowledge sharing.

Encourage a positive, motivated, and accountable work culture within the department.

4. Business Development & Organizational Growth



Collaborate with management on business expansion strategies and client proposals.

Participate in external meetings, presentations, and client onboarding for new engagements.

Contribute to marketing, case studies, or departmental write-ups for firm branding.

Support new service initiatives, process enhancements, and client value-add strategies.

5. Research, Insights & Representation



Research new regulatory changes and industry developments; summarize actionable insights.

Represent the firm in training sessions, webinars, or client seminars when required.

Contribute to internal communication -- process papers, reports, and departmental insights.

Qualifications & Experience



CA

5-6 years

of experience in accounting, compliance, client servicing, or consulting. Demonstrated leadership in team management and business development. Strong financial analytical, client-handling, and communication skills.

Skills & Competencies



Advanced understanding of accounting, finance, and compliance frameworks. Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Proven ability to manage and motivate cross-functional teams. Strategic and commercial mindset with business development capability. Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and client-facing skills. Time management, multitasking, and problem-solving proficiency. Ethical conduct and ownership of deliverables.

Pay: ?420,000.00 - ?600,000.00 per year
