We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Construction Manager to join our team in Ahmedabad, India. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing large-scale construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Develop and implement comprehensive project management plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met and deadlines are achieved Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, safety compliance, and quality control Manage and coordinate multiple construction projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively Analyze project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project completion Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and goal-oriented work environment Prepare and present detailed progress reports to stakeholders, including senior management and clients Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards in Ahmedabad Implement and maintain quality assurance and quality control programs throughout the construction process Resolve conflicts and address issues that arise during the construction process, making decisive and analytical decisions Stay updated on industry trends, innovative construction methods, and sustainable practices to improve project efficiency and outcomes

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in the construction industry, with at least 5 years in a senior management role Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale industrial construction projects In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and regulations specific to Ahmedabad, India Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide diverse project teams Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, in English; knowledge of local languages is a plus Proficiency in construction project management software, Microsoft Office suite, and other relevant tools Solid understanding of construction contracts, financial management, and cost control techniques Experience with sustainable construction practices and green building certifications Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of organization and efficiency Willingness to work on-site and travel as required for project oversight Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels Certification in Project Management (PMP) or Construction Management (CCM) is highly desirable
