Eurofins IT Solutions India Pvt Ltd (EITSI) is a fully owned subsidiary of Eurofins and functions as a Global Software Delivery Center exclusively catering to Eurofins Global IT business needs. The code shipped out of EITSI impacts the global network of Eurofins labs and services.

SUMMARY OF ROLE AND OBJECTIVES:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Commvault Backup Administrator with deep, end-to-end expertise in Commvault software, including domain architecture, enterprise deployment, and advanced data protection strategies. This role is critical to ensuring the resilience, scalability, and compliance of our backup infrastructure across hybrid environments.
ROLE & OBJECTIVES:
Design, implement, and manage Commvault backup architecture, including domain creation, COMM Serve configuration, MediaAgent deployment, and storage policies.
Lead enterprise-wide backup and recovery strategy across physical, virtual, and cloud platforms.
Architect and maintain scalable backup domains tailored to business units, compliance zones, and geographic regions.
Perform advanced troubleshooting, performance tuning, and root cause analysis of backup failures and system bottlenecks.
Automate backup workflows, reporting, and alerting using scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to align backup strategies with business continuity goals.
Evaluate and implement Commvault software upgrades, patches, and new features.
Required
Proven expertise in building and managing Commvault domains, CommCells, and distributed backup architectures.
Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, VMware, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
Experience with enterprise storage systems (NetApp, Dell EMC, HPE).
Commvault Certified Master or Professional (preferred).
Excellent communication, documentation, and leadership skills
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
7 to 11 years of hands-on experience with Commvault software in enterprise environments.
