Role & responsibilities

:

Apply strong expertise in

ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS coding systems

. Accurately assign

MS-DRGs and APR-DRGs

, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. Review patient records with

exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

. Collaborate effectively with

clinical staff

to support complete and precise documentation. Utilize

EHR systems and coding software

to perform daily coding tasks. Work independently, managing priorities and meeting established

deadlines

.

Preferred candidate profile

:

Minimum 1+ years of experience in IP DRG coding specialty. Mandatory certifications: CIC, CCS, CPC. Graduate degree in a relevant field. Strong communication and analytical skills. Proficient in ICD-10-PCS coding with emphasis on accuracy, compliance, and reimbursement standards Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.

Nice-to-Have Skills :

Proficiency in MS Office/excel Experience in coding software or encoder (3M, Trucode, Optum) Familiarity with EMR systems (EPIC, Cerner, etc.,)
