We are looking for a highly experienced

Senior CodeIgniter Developer

to join our team on a part-time or moonlighting basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing applications built on the CodeIgniter framework. Familiarity with

WordPress

is a strong plus, as occasional integration or support tasks may involve WordPress environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and enhance PHP applications using the CodeIgniter framework. Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following best practices. Collaborate with project managers and designers to define project requirements and timelines. Perform debugging and code optimization to improve performance and scalability. Support integration tasks involving third-party APIs or CMS platforms like WordPress. Ensure security and data protection best practices are followed.

Requirements:

5+ years of PHP development experience with a strong focus on the CodeIgniter framework. Strong understanding of MVC architecture and RESTful API development. Proficient in MySQL and front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery). Experience with Git or other version control systems. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and deliver high-quality results. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills for remote collaboration.
Job Types: Part-time, Contractual / Temporary

Pay: ?19,111.30 - ?85,154.21 per month
