The portfolio comprises a mix of iconic heritage brands and trendy young brands, both of which contribute to growth momentum of the entire company. Some of these brands have been the frontrunners in driving the Beauty industry of the country and are crafted to address evolving consumer needs. Main Job Purpose: The person in this role will partner key marketing stakeholders in all their strategic, innovation, communication and activation activities. He/She will support their line manager in driving Transformational Actions with their Business Partners. These actions will be rooted in Consumer and Market Insights. He/She will be responsible for delivering on the consumer agenda and deriving insights from market performance on the category. This will involve working with multiple internal stakeholders (HIVE, PDC etc) and agency partners. Key Responsibilities: Become an indispensable business partner within the brand, R&D and Consumer & Market Insights teams. Lead projects end-to-end, ensuring OTIF delivery on projects while adding value at every step and delighting business partners and stakeholders through excellent collaboration, consultation, and expertise. Lead and own strategic projects intended to address key specific business issues. Upskilling to become knowledge experts who can not only absorb, assimilate and synthe knowledge but also disseminate analysis and findings to drive business actions. Stakeholder management: this involves both internal stakeholders such as Marketing/CMI and other teams / contacts, along with key agency partners. Develop Brand and Consumer insight / expertise in innovation testing relentlessly apply this knowledge to build growth as well as infuse this knowledge across global stakeholders. Inspire research suppliers to consistently deliver their best efforts: deliver actionable, clear, value-added understanding. Day to day activities include: Leading or assisting in the planning, coordination, and implementation of innovation research activities for a brand(s). Leading and/or assisting in insight and idea brainstorming sessions. Developing research proposals, suggesting research methodologies Executing research studies developing questionnaires analyzing findings and presenting results. Monitoring competitors\' activities and market Key Interfaces: . CMI - Global/Markets/COE/HIVE . Marketing - Assistant Brand Managers, Brand Managers, Brand Directors . Market research and advertising agencies . R&D, Consumer Technical Insight Skills/ Experience/ Qualifications: Proven market research experience (minimum 5 years) on either client or agency side. Experience of at least one of the areas below: Key quantitative and/or ad-hoc consumer and market understanding techniques Experience in innovation/mix development studies - concept, product, communication & forecasting Experience in working on a syndicated panel and synthesising data from the same to deliver actionable insights Proven record of Analysing data and information from different sources Inspiring and provoking a team to think differently about the target consumer Cross functional team-working Experience from FMCG markets and personal care/beauty categories preferable but not essential Independent thinker and self-motivated Good presentation skills and articulate Rigorous and with great attention to detail Highly numerate and adept at working with data. Passionate to go beyond the obvious Creative, open minded Able to adjust quickly in a fast-paced and changing environment. Collaborative with direct and indirect teams, peers in the organisation.
