We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Engineer specializing in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our dynamic and innovative team As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our GCP-based cloud infrastructure and services Your expertise in GCP technologies, architecture, and best practices will contribute to the success of our organizations cloud initiatives We are offering a highly competitive salary commensurate with industry standards. Responsibilities: 1. Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure solutions on Google Cloud Platform based on business requirements. 2. Manage and optimize GCP services, including provisioning, monitoring, and performance tuning, to ensure high availability and performance. 3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design GCP-based solutions, and provide technical guidance and support. 4. Develop automation scripts and tools using Google Cloud SDK, Deployment Manager, or other relevant technologies to streamline deployment, configuration, and management of GCP resources. 5. Implement and enforce security measures to protect GCP-based applications and data, including identity and access management, encryption, and vulnerability assessments. 6. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to GCP infrastructure, performance, and connectivity. 7. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in GCP and cloud technologies, and evaluate and recommend new tools and services to optimize GCP operations. 8. Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior cloud engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning. Requirements 1. Relevant certifications in Google Cloud technologies, such as Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect, Google Cloud Certified - Professional Data Engineer, or Google Cloud Certified - Professional DevOps Engineer. 2. Experience with serverless computing technologies on GCP, such as Cloud Functions or Cloud Run. 3. Knowledge of big data technologies on GCP, such as BigQuery, Dataflow, or Pub/Sub. 4. Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices in the context of GCP. 5. Experience with infrastructure monitoring and logging tools, such as Google Cloud Monitoring, Stackdriver, or ELK stack. 6.
