Job Description

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer with 4-7 years of experience to design, build, and optimize cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), infrastructure management, automation, and security. You will play a key role in architecting scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud environments while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: Cloud Architecture & Infrastructure Management: Design and implement scalable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud architectures. Manage and optimize cloud services across AWS, Azure, or GCP. Ensure cloud environments align with best practices for security, performance, and reliability. Implement hybrid and multi-cloud strategies where needed. Automation & Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Use Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi to automate infrastructure provisioning. Implement configuration management with Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. Optimize infrastructure for high availability and disaster recovery. Security, Compliance & Governance: Implement cloud security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and vulnerability management. Ensure compliance with industry standards (SOC2, ISO27001, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.). Conduct security audits and proactively address risks. Networking & Performance Optimization: Configure and manage VPCs, subnets, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers. Optimize cloud network performance and troubleshoot latency issues. DevOps & CI/CD Integration: Work with DevOps teams to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps). Support containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE). Automate cloud resource scaling and deployment processes. Monitoring & Incident Management: Implement cloud monitoring and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Cloud-native tools. Develop alerting and logging strategies to enhance system reliability. Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and optimize performance. Required Skills & Qualifications: 4 -7 years of experience in cloud engineering, system administration, or related fields. Hands-on expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi). Proficiency in cloud networking (VPC, security groups, routing, DNS, VPNs). Solid understanding of cloud security, IAM, and compliance frameworks. Experience in automation and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell). Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK, etc.). Strong troubleshooting skills and experience handling incident response. Preferred Qualifications: Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect, Google Cloud Professional Engineer). Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud environments. Knowledge of serverless computing (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, Google Cloud Functions). Experience with database management in cloud (RDS, DynamoDB, CosmosDB, BigQuery). Familiarity with Zero Trust Security Models and advanced cloud security measures.
