Job Description

A Senior Clinical Psychologist who is a highly experienced and licensed professional

responsible for providing advanced clinical psychology services within our mental

health organization - eMbrace. They play a pivotal role in treating individuals with

various psychological disorders, emotional challenges, and behavioral issues.

About us:

eMbrace, India is a mental health organization aimed at providing evidence-based

psychological services. eMbrace came out of a vision to make mental health services

easily accessible. We provide online therapeutic support for common mental health

disorders, neurodevelopmental disorder assessments and centre-based evidence

based therapies for neurodevelopmental disorders. We are pioneers in making short

term evidence-based therapies easily available to a large population with mental health

difficulties. We collaborate across sectors - healthcare professionals, large

corporations, schools and hospitals - to support people with mental health conditions.

We offer international level, in-person support for children, adolescents and adults with

neurodevelopmental disorders.

Although only two years old, our work is already being recognised in the field as ground

breaking. Dr Malik, founder-director, was recently awarded 40 under 40 in Healthcare

by Business World Magazine.

Key Responsibilities:

Therapeutic Interventions:
Provide evidence-based psychotherapy to individuals and couples. Utilize various

therapeutic modalities to address a wide range of mental health issues. Monitor and

evaluate the effectiveness of treatment interventions, adjusting as necessary.

Proficient in various therapeutic modalities and psychological assessment tools.

Crisis Intervention:
Respond to and manage crisis situations, providing immediate psychological support.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop crisis intervention protocols.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers,

nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Participate in case conferences, treatment

planning meetings, and other collaborative activities.

Research and Program Development:
Stay abreast of current research and developments in the field of clinical psychology.

Contribute to the development and implementation of new programs and interventions.

Administrative Duties:
Complete and maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with ethical and

legal standards. Participate in regular case reviews, quality improvement initiatives,

and departmental meetings.

Continuing Education:
Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with advancements in

clinical psychology. Pursue additional certifications, specializations, or training as

relevant to the field.

Ethics and Professionalism:
Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards set by relevant licensing

bodies. Uphold confidentiality and privacy standards in all interactions.

Qualified with strong communication and interpersonal skills:
Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or M.Phil.) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.

RCI Registration as a Clinical Psychologist. 10+ years of post-licensure experience in

clinical psychology.
