We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil & Structural Detailing Engineer to deliver high-quality civil and structural detailing for industrial and plant engineering projects. The role requires strong expertise in RCC and steel detailing, 3D model coordination, and adherence to international codes and project standards while supporting multidisciplinary coordination and project execution.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review structural GA drawings, foundation drawings, RCC reinforcement detailing, and steel detailing for columns, beams, platforms, pipe racks, and equipment structures
Generate Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) and ensure alignment with design calculations and analysis models
Prepare fabrication and erection drawings for structural steel
Develop civil drawings including layouts, grading, roads, drainage, and utility structures
Coordinate with structural design, piping, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and project teams
Conduct 3D model reviews and clash checks using Navisworks / SP3D / PDMS
Review vendor drawings and provide technical comments
Handle RFIs, technical queries, and support resolution of site-related issues
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, project specifications, quality standards, and constructability requirements
Guide junior engineers and draftsmen and support project schedules and deliverables
Requirements:
B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (mandatory)
M.Tech in Structural Engineering (preferred)
10-15 years of experience in civil & structural detailing for EPC / industrial projects
Strong expertise in RCC and steel structural detailing
Hands-on experience with CAD MicroStation, Tekla Structures, Revit & Navisworks
Working knowledge of STAAD.Pro for interpreting analysis models
Exposure to SP3D / PDMS structural environment is an added advantage
Sound knowledge of international codes & standards (IS, ACI, AISC, BS, Eurocodes)
Ability to interpret design basis, load data, and geotechnical reports
Strong coordination, communication, and mentoring skills
Proficiency in MS Office
