Job Description

A Civil Site Engineer manages and supervises on-site construction projects, ensuring they meet design specifications, safety standards, and budget constraints. Key responsibilities include coordinating with project teams and subcontractors, conducting quality control inspections, maintaining safety compliance, preparing progress reports, and resolving technical issues to ensure projects are completed efficiently and successfully. Key Responsibilities

Project Oversight:

Oversee the daily management and implementation of construction projects on-site.

Technical Expertise:

Provide technical guidance, review project plans and specifications, and ensure work adheres to engineering standards.

Quality Control:

Conduct inspections to verify work quality, identify defects, and ensure adherence to design and safety standards.

Safety Compliance:

Ensure that all on-site activities comply with health, safety, and legal regulations.

Coordination:

Liaise with architects, project managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors to coordinate activities and resolve issues.

Resource Management:

Manage the project budget, monitor expenditures, and procure necessary materials and equipment.

Reporting:

Prepare and submit detailed progress reports, documenting site activities and project status.

Problem-Solving:

Diagnose and resolve technical difficulties and other on-site problems to prevent delays and maintain project momentum.
Skills and Qualifications

Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices. Proficiency in reading technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines. Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and compliance guidelines
