Senior Civil Engineer
Scope:- Mainly Office Works
Experience: 10+ Years
Key Responsibilities
1. Planning
Prepare and monitor detailed project schedules for road and building works using MS Project / Primavera.
Develop construction methodologies for highways, internal roads, structures, and buildings.
Coordinate with design consultants, surveyors, and execution teams.
Track progress, analyze delays, and implement recovery plans.
Review drawings, GFCs, and technical specifications for constructability.
2. Estimation & Cost Control
Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, rate analysis, and quantity take-offs for:
Earthwork, embankment, subgrade, GSB, WMM, DBM, BC
RCC, PCC, masonry, plaster, finishing works
Assist in tendering, budgeting, and bid evaluation.
Monitor project cost vs budget and control wastage.
Verify measurements and certify contractor and subcontractor bills.
Coordinate with procurement for material planning and vendor finalization.
3. Execution & Site Management
Manage end-to-end execution of road and building construction activities.
Supervise site engineers, supervisors, lab technicians, and subcontractors.
Ensure execution as per approved drawings, specifications, and IRC / IS codes.
Coordinate with survey, batching plant, asphalt plant, and QA/QC teams.
Plan manpower, machinery, and materials for uninterrupted work progress.
Resolve technical and execution-related site issues promptly.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
Implement QA/QC procedures for road and building works.
Ensure testing of materials (soil, aggregates, concrete, bitumen, asphalt).
Enforce site safety practices and statutory compliance.
Maintain quality documentation, checklists, and test reports.
Reporting & Documentation
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
Maintain site records, DPRs, method statements, and as-built drawings.
Provide inputs for management reviews and project coordination meetings.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
Certifications in Planning / Project Management (preferred).
Experience & Skills
Minimum 10+ years of experience in Roads & Building Construction.
Strong knowledge of IRC, MORTH, IS codes.
Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Project / Primavera.
Experience handling government / private infrastructure projects.
Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
Preferred Experience
Highways, urban roads, bridges (if applicable), and multistorey buildings.
Experience with bituminous and concrete pavements.
Compensation
Best in industry, commensurate with experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
