Key Responsibilities:
Conduct chemical analysis using instruments such as:
Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS)
Flame Photometer
pH Meter
Conductivity Meter
Hydride Vapour Generator Assembly
for
mercury and arsenic estimation
Perform estimations of:
Nitrogen
and
Phosphorous
in final products and raw materials
Heavy metals
and
trace elements
as per
FCO guidelines
Ensure accurate
sample preparation

standardization
, and
data recording
Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments as per defined schedules and protocols
Ensure strict compliance with quality and safety standards
Maintain and update
log books

Handle and differentiate between
laboratory-grade

commercial-grade chemicals
Assist in method development and troubleshooting of analytical procedures

Qualifications:
Master's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related discipline
Minimum
5-8 years
of relevant experience in an analytical lab, preferably in the fertilizer, chemical, or environmental sector
Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of
FCO guidelines
and regulatory standards
Expertise in heavy metal and trace element analysis
Proficient in operating and calibrating sophisticated laboratory instruments
Good understanding of chemical safety and laboratory best practices
Strong documentation and record-keeping skills
Ability to troubleshoot and solve analytical problems efficiently
Team player with good communication and organizational skills
Preferred Experience:
