Assist cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional procedures such as angiograms, stent placements, and pacemaker implantations.
Prepare the lab and ensure all equipment (e.g., imaging systems, catheters, stents) is sterile and functioning.
Monitor vital signs and EKG during procedures and alert the physician of any abnormalities.
Operate and troubleshoot imaging and monitoring equipment.
Maintain accurate patient records and document procedural details.
Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control policies.
Provide post-procedure care and assist in patient transfer or discharge.
Participate in on-call rotation for emergency procedures.
Ensure timely maintenance and calibration of lab equipment.
