About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced professional to lead buying, merchandising, and category management in FMCG/Retail. The role involves vendor management, negotiations, and driving category growth through effective assortment and pricing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end buying and category ownership for assigned products. Develop assortment plans, ensure timely procurement, and optimize stock levels. Negotiate with vendors on pricing, margins, and payment terms. Monitor consumer trends, competitor activity, and market opportunities. Collaborate with supply chain, marketing, and store operations for seamless execution.

Requirements:

8-12 years of experience in FMCG/Retail buying, sourcing, or category management. Proven negotiation and vendor management skills. Strong commercial acumen and analytical ability. Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Retail Management, or related field.
