Job Title: Senior Technician - Car Showroom
Location: Chromepet & Kattupakkam, Chennai
Salary: Up to ₹27,000 per month
Key Responsibilities
Perform advanced diagnostic checks and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in vehicles.
Carry out repair and maintenance work as per manufacturer standards.
Ensure timely completion of service jobs with quality and accuracy.
Guide and mentor junior technicians and apprentices in technical tasks.
Maintain proper documentation of service records, job cards, and reports.
Ensure compliance with workshop safety and cleanliness standards.
Coordinate with service advisors for smooth workflow and customer updates.
Keep updated with the latest automotive technologies and service practices.
Requirements
ITI/Diploma in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering.
5+ years of hands-on experience in car service and repairs (multi-brand experience preferred).
Strong technical knowledge of modern automobile systems (engine, transmission, electrical, diagnostics).
Familiarity with diagnostic tools, scanners, and service equipment.
Ability to work under pressure and lead by example.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
