Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and meticulous Senior Specialist to lead governance initiatives within the Capacity Management function. This role is pivotal in implementing policy compliance, driving accurate and clear reporting, aligning collaborators, business and technology teams, and continuously improving capacity-related processes. The ideal candidate will bring a strong governance approach and the ability to influence multi-functional teams in a multifaceted environment.
Key Responsibilities

  • Policy Administration:
  • Develop, maintain, and carry out governance policies and standards for capacity management.
  • Ensure alignment to internal controls and regulatory requirements across capacity processes.
  • Conduct regular reviews and audits to validate compliance and identify areas for remediation.
  • Reporting & Insights:
  • Develop and deliver governance dashboards and reports that provide transparency into capacity utilization, forecasting accuracy, and policy alignment.
  • Partner with analytics teams to ensure data integrity and actionable insights.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and governance forums.
  • Collaborator Alignment:
  • Act as a liaison between capacity management, demand planning, finance, and technical teams for consistent understanding and execution of governance practices.
  • Facilitate working groups and governance councils to drive alignment and accountability.
  • Support the change team efforts related to governance initiatives.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Identify inefficiencies and gaps in current capacity governance processes and recommend enhancements.
  • Lead initiatives to standardize and automate governance workflows.
  • Benchmark against industry standard methodologies and integrate takeaways into the governance framework.
Key Outcomes / Definition of Success
  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks that ensure capacity management processes align with interpersonal standards and compliance requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize capacity management, reduce risk, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Ensure collaborator alignment and transparency by providing clear communication on capacity trends and constraints.
  • Achieve SLA and critical metric targets related to capacity governance, ensuring timely escalation and resolution of capacity risks.
  • Enable proactive capacity management that supports business growth, scalability, and cost optimization.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., ITIL, COBIT, PMP) preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability in capacity management, IT governance, or operational risk.
  • Solid grasp of governance frameworks, policy enforcement, and process improvement methodologies.
  • Proficiency in reporting and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel).
  • Superb communication, facilitation, and collaborator egagement skills.
  • Ability to work independently and influence across interpersonal levels.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in a global or matrixed organization.
  • Familiarity with cloud and hybrid infrastructure capacity governance.
  • Knowledge of demand forecasting and financial planning processes.
