repare detailed engineering drawings and schematics for control and protection panels (400kV to 11kV) for substations. D
evelop layouts for OHL/UG cable feeders, transformer control, and relay panels. C
reate and update Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), bus bar protection schemes, and equipment details. C
onvert and retrofit existing designs (PDF to DWG), ensuring logic matches for new and existing substations. P
erform cable sizing, AC/DC load calculations, relay settings, and fault level analysis. E
nsure high quality and accuracy of all drafted components, suggesting modifications for performance enhancement. F
acilitate implementation of design changes, process improvements, and pilot new products. C
oordinate with multidisciplinary teams (civil, structural, electrical) and international counterparts. M
entor and guide junior team members, sharing best practices and technical expertise. A
dhere to company and client drafting standards and procedures. C
onduct periodic quality checks and support project documentation. Develop and enhance processes, tools, and potentially implement new technologies into the design process. P
eriodic Quality check to be conducted for other engineers & designers. E
xhibit ingenuity, foresight, and wise decision-making skills in proactively identifying and resolving challenges. C
ontribute to the progress and growth of departmental tools and workflows aimed at improving the effectiveness of design processes, specification development, and project implementation. E
ngage in training sessions and meetings dedicated to addressing targeted organizational initiatives. P
ossess a Diploma or Degree in electrical engineering from an accredited institution. H
ave a minimum of four years and a maximum of seven years of experience in the field of Substation Transmission & Distribution, Renewable (Onshore & Offshore wind/ Solar), BESS projects. E
xperience on working in Raster image files. P
referably familiar with US projects. Experience of working in a drafting & design role on National Electricity Code and other utility Codes and Standards applicable in the US will be an added advantage. F
amiliarity with AutoCAD Script and E-Plan for Engineering design is desirable. E
xcellent verbal and written communication skills. S

asic knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office programs, including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. S

horough knowledge and experience applying National Electricity Code, Technical Specification, Technical Guidance Notes, and Design Handbooks relating to substation protection & control in the US. M
embership in a relevant professional Engineering Institution, such as IET, CIGRE, IEC, IEEE, is preferred. P
ossess a strong knowledge of standard engineering techniques and procedures. E
xhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills. S
trong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. D
emonstrates diligence, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills. H
