We are looking for a Senior CAD Detailer - PEB with strong experience in steel structure detailing and CAD tools. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing detailed drawings, ensuring accuracy and quality, and leading a team of junior detailers. You will coordinate with engineers and project teams to deliver PEB drawings as per client standards and timelines.
Work Responsibilities:
Prepare and review shop drawings, erection drawings, and general arrangement (GA) drawings for PEB projects.
Ensure all drawings meet project specifications, client requirements, and industry standards
Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to deliver efficient and cost-effective design solutions.
Oversee the preparation of accurate and complete Bill of Materials (BOM) for structural components.
Use CADD (AutoCAD or equivalent)) for detailing and 3D modelling tasks. Maintain high levels of quality and precision across all drawings and models.
Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams, addressing feedback and technical queries.
Stay current with industry trends, tools, and advancements in PEB detailing and drafting practices. Lead and mentor junior detailers, providing technical guidance and support throughout the project.
Proficiencies:
Proficient CADD (AutoCAD or equivalent) with strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and industry codes.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in preparing drawings.
Ability to lead a team and collaborate effectively with engineers and project managers.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Excel for data management.
Academic Background:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in PEB detailing or structural steel detailing.
Strong analytical and technical skills.
Proven experience in leading and mentoring junior engineers.
