Job Summary:



The IT Business Development Specialist is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and driving revenue growth in the IT sector. This role focuses on expanding the company's client base by identifying potential clients, understanding their technology needs, and proposing tailored IT solutions. The specialist works closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and technical support, to align offerings with client demands.

Key Responsibilities:



Lead Generation & Prospecting:



Identify and generate new leads through various channels, including networking, cold calling, digital outreach, and attending industry events. Conduct market research to identify potential clients and assess their IT needs.

Client Relationship Management:



Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients by understanding their business goals and technology challenges. Schedule meetings, presentations, and follow-ups with prospective clients.

Solution Selling:



Collaborate with the technical team to develop tailored IT solutions that address client needs, including software, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and cloud solutions. Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and contract negotiations to close deals.

Sales & Revenue Growth:



Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the company's overall revenue objectives. Track and report on sales performance metrics, client interactions, and revenue forecasts.

Market Intelligence:



Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and technological advancements. Provide feedback to the product development team based on client needs and market demands.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:



Work closely with marketing to develop targeted campaigns and promotional materials. Partner with project management and technical teams to ensure smooth handover of projects and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:



Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience:



Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management in the IT industry. Experience working with enterprise clients or within the technology consulting space is a plus.

Skills & Competencies:



Strong understanding of IT services and products, such as cloud computing, cybersecurity, software development, and infrastructure solutions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with clients at various levels. Strong negotiation skills and a proven track record of closing deals. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of emerging technology trends like AI, IoT, and data analytics. Experience with proposal writing and responding to RFPs (Requests for Proposals). Certifications in IT services, cloud solutions, or business development (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure, HubSpot CRM certification).
