Senior Business Development Officer - B2B (Dealer Channel)
will be responsible for
developing, managing, and expanding solar product business exclusively through dealer points
in the Trivandrum region.
This role is
purely B2B and channel-focused
, with
no direct end-customer interaction
. The incumbent will drive
dealer onboarding, secondary sales growth, market penetration, and relationship strengthening
, leveraging prior experience in the
solar industry
.
Key Responsibilities Dealer Network Development
Identify, appoint, and develop
solar product dealer partners
as per company guidelines.
Strengthen relationships with
existing authorized dealers
to improve business continuity.
Conduct regular dealer visits and
business review meetings
.
Business Growth & Sales Execution
Drive
secondary sales
and ensure achievement of assigned monthly and quarterly targets.
Execute
dealer-wise sales plans
and territory growth strategies.
Ensure optimal
product availability, assortment, and stock rotation
at dealer points.
Market Development
Expand market coverage and
increase brand presence
across Trivandrum.
Implement trade schemes, promotions, and dealer incentive programs.
Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and scheme structures.
Operations & Coordination
Coordinate with internal teams for
order placement, logistics, billing, and collections
.
Ensure compliance with company policies and channel guidelines.
Skills & Competencies Required
Strong knowledge of
solar products, applications, and channel sales models
Proven experience in
dealer management and B2B business development
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Target-oriented and execution-focused mindset
Ability to analyze market data and dealer performance
Proficiency in
MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum
2 years of experience in Solar industry

Hands-on experience in
B2B / Dealer Channel Sales
Bachelor's degree / MBA preferred
Valid driving license and two-wheeler - Mandatory
Laptop proficiency - Preferred
