Roles & Responsibilities :
We are looking for a
Business Development Manager
to drive sales and growth in the
Commercial and Industrial Solar sectors
. Key responsibilities include:
Identify and develop new business opportunities within the solar energy sector.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, agents such as electrical consultants, PMCs, and regulatory bodies.
Conduct market research to identify new trends, competitors, and potential projects.
Lead the end-to-end sales cycle, including proposal submissions, presentations, negotiations, and contract closures.
Work closely with technical teams to ensure the feasibility and technical soundness of proposed projects.
Develop and execute strategies to expand the company's presence and increase revenue streams.
Provide detailed reports on business development activities, market analysis, and competitor performance to senior management.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely project delivery and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote the company's services and products.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum 4-9 years in the solar energy industry, or experience in Industrial Sales, Commercial Sales, B2B Sales, Heavy Machinery Sales, Project Sales of Heavy Equipment, or other related sectors such as Electrical, Renewable Energy, or Engineering, with a proven track record in business development, sales, and project management.
Strong understanding of solar power technologies, installation processes, and relevant industry regulations.
Experience in managing and leading sales cycles from prospecting to closing, including negotiation and contract management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills -
English communication is a must; candidates comfortable only with Hindi are requested not to apply

Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
Willingness to travel as required.
MBA or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (preferred).
Previous experience with Solar Companies, project bids, or solar EPC projects is highly desirable.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of solar industry trends and market dynamics in Rajasthan.
Strong network within the local solar industry, including key stakeholders, contractors, and regulators.
