Role Overview



The

Senior Business Manager - B2B (Dealer Channel)

will be responsible for

leading and expanding the dealer network and business performance for solar products

across the Kochi region.

This is a

pure B2B, dealer-driven role

with

no direct end-customer sales

. The position demands strong expertise in

solar channel sales, dealer management, business planning, and market expansion

, and will play a critical role in driving

revenue growth, dealer profitability, and brand presence

.

Key ResponsibilitiesDealer Channel Leadership



Lead, manage, and grow business through

solar product dealers

. Appoint, develop, and monitor

high-performing dealer partners

as per company policy. Build strong, long-term relationships with key dealer principals and owners.

Business Growth & Strategy



Develop and execute

region-wise and dealer-wise business plans

. Drive

secondary sales growth

, market penetration, and share expansion. Identify new opportunities for

product placement, dealer expansion, and market development

.

Sales Performance Management



Set dealer-wise targets and ensure

achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual goals

. Monitor dealer sales, stock levels, credit exposure, and aging. Ensure healthy

stock rotation and inventory optimization

.

Market Development & Intelligence



Track competitor activity, pricing strategies, and scheme structures. Provide market feedback for

product positioning and pricing decisions

. Strengthen brand visibility at dealer points through

POSM and merchandising initiatives

.

Cross-Functional Coordination



Coordinate with

supply chain, finance, service, and technical teams

. Ensure smooth execution of

order processing, logistics, billing, and collections

. Support dealers in resolving

technical, service, and operational issues

.

Reporting & Compliance



Prepare and present

management reports, forecasts, and performance dashboards

. Ensure compliance with

company policies, channel guidelines, and statutory norms

. Maintain accurate dealer and business documentation.

Required Skills & Competencies



Strong expertise in

solar products and channel sales models

Proven experience in

dealer development and regional business management

Strategic planning and analytical skills Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities Ability to drive performance through dealer networks Proficiency in

MS Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools

Willingness to travel extensively within the region

Eligibility Criteria



Minimum

2 years of experience in Solar industry

Mandatory

Proven background in

B2B / Dealer Channel Sales

Bachelor's degree / MBA preferred Valid driving license and two-wheeler - Mandatory Laptop proficiency - Preferred
