Business Development Manager- Cybersecurity Software Sales

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive sales and growth in our cybersecurity products and services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing key client relationships, and positioning our cybersecurity solutions to BFSI, New Age Companies.

Key Responsibilities

.Sales & Business Development



oIdentify and pursue new business opportunities in cybersecurity solutions, including network security, endpoint security, cloud security and threat intelligence.

oDevelop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.

oGenerate leads through networking, cold calling, industry events, and referrals.

oConduct sales presentations and demos for clients to showcase cybersecurity solutions.

oRespond to RFPs (Request for Proposals) and create compelling proposals for potential clients.

2.Client Relationship Management



oDevelop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers (CISOs, IT Heads, CTOs, CIOs).

oConduct regular account management activities to drive customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.

3.Market & Industry Analysis



oStay updated with industry trends, cybersecurity threats, and evolving technologies.

oIdentify competitive threats and develop counter-strategies.

oProvide insights on market demands and customer pain points to internal teams for product/service improvement.

4.Collaboration & Reporting



oWork closely with marketing, and product / technical teams to develop sales strategies.

oProvide regular sales forecasts, reports, and pipeline updates to senior management.

oRepresent the company at cybersecurity conferences, trade shows, and networking events.

Key Requirements

Education & Experience



oBachelor's degree i

n business, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.



o

4-8 years of experience in B2B sales, business development in the cybersecurity or IT solutions space.



Technical & Sales Skills

oStrong understanding of cybersecurity solutions (firewalls, endpoint security, SIEM, SOC, identity & access management, cloud security, etc.).



oProven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets in a cybersecurity or IT solutions company.

oExperience in selling to enterprise clients and New Age Companies, mid-market organizations.



oAbility to translate complex cybersecurity concepts into business value for non-technical stakeholders.

oStrong knowledge of sales processes, pipeline management, and CRM tools

Soft Skills

oExcellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

oStrong problem-solving and consultative sales approach.

oSelf-motivated, results-driven, and ability to work independently.
