Role Overview
We are seeking an energetic and strategic
Business Development Manager (BDM)
to expand our solar business portfolio. The ideal candidate will lead sales initiatives, identify business opportunities, and build strong relationships with clients, EPC partners, and government bodies to accelerate our solar growth journey.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategies to achieve business growth and revenue targets.
Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities in the solar energy sector (Rooftop, Ground-mounted, and Industrial/Commercial projects).
Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, industrial houses, and institutional buyers.
Conduct market research to track industry trends, competitor activities, and potential partnerships.
Prepare proposals, techno-commercial offers, and presentations for prospective clients.
Collaborate with the technical and project teams to ensure seamless delivery and client satisfaction.
Participate in solar tenders, bids, and policy discussions when required.
Prepare periodic business reports, forecasts, and performance updates for management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Energy / Business Administration (MBA preferred).
4-7 years of experience in Business Development / Sales in the
solar energy or renewable energy sector
.
Strong understanding of solar project lifecycles, EPC models, and regulatory frameworks.
Proven track record in B2B/B2G sales and client acquisition.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Self-driven with a passion for sustainable energy solutions.
