About the Role
We are looking for a
Senior Business Development Executive (Telecalling Sales)
to join our growing team in Coimbatore. In this role, you will guide students in selecting the right career paths while promoting our
EdTech and skill-development solutions
.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Conversions
Conduct daily outbound calls to prospective students to drive enrollments
Convert marketing-generated leads into successful admissions using effective sales techniques
Clearly communicate the value of our career-focused education programs
Maintain a high conversion ratio through consultative selling
2. Target Achievement
Consistently meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales targets
Track performance metrics and refine sales strategies for improved outcomes
3. Relationship Management
Build strong rapport with students and parents to support informed decision-making
Maintain structured follow-ups to ensure timely enrollment closures
4. Reporting & Feedback
Accurately update call activity, lead status, and conversions in CRM systems (LeadSquared / Zoho preferred)
Share market insights and customer feedback to support sales and marketing improvements

Strong negotiation and closing abilities with a focus on value-based selling
High level of ownership and accountability for individual performance and outcomes
Ability to handle high call volumes and work effectively in a target-driven environment
Excellent follow-up discipline and lead management skills
Ability to understand customer needs and provide
career-focused consultative solutions
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in any field
2+ years of proven experience
in telecalling sales (EdTech or Sales driven industry preferred)
Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets
