Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced
Business Development Manager - Sales Manager
to lead our sales team and drive growth in academic consultancy services. The ideal candidate will bring proven leadership, a strategic mindset, and a strong track record in B2B/B2C sales, preferably in the education or services domain.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead & Manage Sales Team:
Supervise, train, and mentor a team of sales executives and counselors.
Drive Revenue Growth:
Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
Market Expansion:
Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and channels to grow market presence.
Client Relationship Management:
Build long-term relationships with clients and ensure customer satisfaction.
Lead Generation:
Oversee inbound/outbound lead generation and conversion optimization.
Performance Tracking:
Analyze sales metrics, pipeline status, and reporting for senior management.
Collaboration:
Work closely with marketing and product teams to align go-to-market strategies.
Process Improvement:
Optimize the sales process to enhance productivity and customer experience.
Training & Development:
Conduct training sessions and workshops to upskill the team.
CRM Management:
Efficient use of CRM tools for pipeline and client management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum
5+ years of experience
in business development or sales, preferably in the
education or consulting sector
.
Proven
leadership experience
with the ability to manage high-performing sales teams.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strategic thinker with a strong analytical mindset.
Ability to work in a target-driven and fast-paced environment.
Proficient in CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and sales analytics platforms.
Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
Preferred:
Experience in EdTech, academic consultancy, or higher education industry.
Understanding of PhD programs, research processes, and academic requirements.

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
