Business Development Executive (Upwork Specialist)
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business through Upwork by identifying opportunities, preparing winning proposals, and building strong client relationships for digital marketing services.
Key Responsibilities
Search, identify, and apply for relevant projects on
Upwork
Understand client requirements related to
digital marketing services
Create and submit
customized and conversion-focused proposals
Communicate with clients via Upwork messages, email, and calls
Coordinate with internal marketing teams to ensure service alignment
Track bids, leads, responses, and follow-ups on a daily basis
Develop and maintain
long-term professional relationships
with clients
Consistently work towards achieving
monthly business targets
Required Skills & Qualifications
1-3 years
of experience in
Upwork bidding or business development
Strong understanding of
Digital Marketing Services
, including:
SEO
Google Ads / PPC
Social Media Marketing
Website Development
Excellent
English communication skills
(written & verbal)
Ability to write
clear, professional, and persuasive proposals
Hands-on experience with
Upwork or similar freelance platforms
Strong negotiation, follow-up, and client-handling skills
Self-driven, target-oriented, and result-focused attitude
